Academic Interests

Dr. Bolotin is Director of Mohs Micrographic Surgery. A fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon, Dr. Bolotin has expertise in a wide range of medical and surgical treatments within cutaneous oncology, including Mohs surgery and excision treatments of cutaneous neoplasms. She is also proficient in laser surgery including laser treatments for blood vessel abnormalities, hair removal and skin resurfacing and rejuvenation. Her clinical and academic interests span the field of cutaneous oncology. Having graduate training in skin biology, she is particularly interested in translational research of carcinogenesis and novel skin cancer therapies. She is a recipient of the Medical Dermatology Society Mentorship Award as well as the Chicago Dermatologic Society Research Award and has participated in numerous clinical trials within the field of procedural dermatology. Dr. Bolotin has authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters within the field, as well as given presentations at regional and national dermatology meetings. Dr. Bolotin is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Chicago Dermatologic Society, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Women’s Dermatologic Society and Society for Investigative Dermatology.
