Academic Interests

Dr. Belkin is an Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiac Transplantation, and Mechanical Circulatory Support physician. Dr. Belkin actively participates in clinical research, with special interests in cardiac hemodynamics, cardiogenic shock, and left ventricular assist devices. He is working to help identify invasive hemodynamic markers in cardiogenic shock that may help guide individualized treatment decisions and help inform the prognosis for cardiac recovery.
