Faculty Profile

Roshni Roy Chowdhury
Section of Genetic Medicine
Assistant Professor of Medicine

Academic Interests

Dr. Roy Chowdhury’s research centers on understanding the differentiation pathways, cell states, antigen-specificities, and functional specialization of tissue-localized lymphocytes. She is specifically interested in unconventional lymphocytes and uses a suite of genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic approaches to understand the functional consequences of their enrichment in different tissue localizations in humans. Her lab also focuses on disease modeling using organoid systems to drive mechanistic studies of human pathophysiology.
