Academic Interests

Dr. Liu’s lab focuses on developing statistical methods for analyzing multi-omics data, in order to understand the impact of genetic variation on gene regulation and complex traits. Areas of interest include detecting trans gene regulation, building gene regulatory networks, disease gene mapping and predicting polygenic risk scores.
