Academic Interests

Dr. Liao’s primary academic interest is in developing novel therapeutic strategies for patients with gastrointestinal cancers, focusing on cholangiocarcinoma and neuroendocrine cancers. As a clinical investigator, he is active in developing and conducting clinical trials, with a particular interest in targeted therapies for cholangiocarcinoma and immunotherapy strategies for advanced gastrointestinal cancers.
