Dr. Nguyen specializes in advanced heart failure, transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, and left ventricular assist devices. Her academic interests include metabolic dysfunction that occurs as the heart fails, alterations in the microbiome in patients with advanced heart failure, and the effect of diet and nutrition on the progression of heart failure.
