Academic Interests

Dr. Waxman’s interests are focused on state-of-the art endoscopic procedures for the treatment of gastrointestinal tumors. Currently he is conducting clinical research in therapeutic applications of endoscopic ultrasound, particularly in patients with advanced pancreatic and esophageal cancer. He is also studying minimally invasive endoscopic therapy for early cancer detection.
