Academic Interests

Dr. Siegler is a general internist and a Master of the American College of Physicians (MACP). His academic interests are in the area of clinical medical ethics. He has written extensively about the doctor-patient relationship, informed consent, end-of-life care, and the ethics of organ transplantation. He directs a fellowship program in medical ethics, which has trained over 350 clinicians.
