Academic Interests

Dr. Friedman's academic interest is management of infectious diseases in immunocompromised hosts, particularly those following solid organ transplant, stem cell transplant, and those with cancer. He is also interested in better identifying risk factors for fungal and mycobacterial infections after transplant and how to personalize preventative strategies
 

Clinical Interests

Infections in transplant recipients and other immunocompromised hosts, fungal infections, nontuberculous mycobacteria
