Academic Interests

Dr. Crawford is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Brown University. She went on to complete a post-doctoral clinical research fellowship at Columbia University, where she studied cardio-protective diets. She also completed a Masters’ degree in Clinical Epidemiology at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She is a professionally trained chef and graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute for Culinary and Healing Arts in New York City. Her academic and community interests aim to reduce chronic diseases, such as heart disease and diabetes, through preventive medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle changes. Dr. Crawford is board certified in Internal Medicine.
