Academic Interests

Dr. Ari is a general internist with an interest in integration of substance use disorder screening and treatment into primary care, as well as safe pain management strategies. A dedicated clinician-educator, she is interested in teaching these concepts to medical students and residents. Her academic interests also include innovations in curriculum development, and giving medical students authentic roles in patient care.
