Academic Interests

Dr. Khanh Nguyen is a hospitalist physician with an interest in inpatient triage and transitions of care. She is the director of triage for the Hospital Medicine section and oversees the triage service, a hospital wide service that screens and distributes admissions and transfer of medical patients within the hospital. Her goal is to implement triage and admission processes that can improve patient safety, efficiency, and capacity. She also has an interest in quality improvement, interhospital transfers, and EHR optimization.
