Dr. Murphy is interested in leadership development, quality improvement and operational excellence in the inpatient medicine setting. Her work involves the development of clinical services and clinical service leadership and the promotion of academic growth within the Section of Hospital Medicine. Her quality improvement interests are broad and include throughput, length of stay, geriatric syndromes, case review, patient experience, sepsis, medication reconciliation and care transitions.
