Academic Interests

Dr. Thomas’s academic interests are focused on understanding ways to efficiently improve the quality of care of diabetes management in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Specifically, she is working with multidisciplinary teams to decrease iatrogenic hypoglycemia and improve blood glucose control. She is also interested in the relationship between environmental chemical exposures and metabolic disease
