Academic Interests

Dr. Shah serves as Chief Medical Information Officer where his work focuses on population health, value based care, and patient engagement. He has played a primary role in shaping care of patients by implementing evidence based improvements to clinical practice. He has particular expertise in clinical decision support, chronic disease and wellness registries, care gap analysis, quality improvement, and analytics. Dr. Shah also serves as the Associate Program Director of the Medicine-Pediatrics Residency program, and as Core Faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency program. He works closely with medical students and residents, emphasizing patient centered care, clinical reasoning, and evidence based practice.
 

Clinical Interests

Dr. Shah is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and provides comprehensive primary care to adults and children. He is interested in population health, chronic disease management, and preventive health.
